The Advantage Of Mediation
Most people understand that mediation, an alternative to litigation in resolving disputes, is a calm environment that is less costly, less bureaucratic and less anxiety-provoking than going to trial. But mediation has another powerful advantage as well: It allows the parties in dispute to retain control of the process. From scheduling the meetings and points of discussion to creating their settlement agreement, disputing parties drive the result.
In court, a judge runs the trial, and the drama of case can frequently sway a jury. In addition to being drawn out and expensive, trials can be high-risk situations. Mediation, when parties end in agreement, produces finality and closure. The claimant goes back to their life, and the defendant can close the book on that particular problem. As one insurance lawyer put it, “A closed file is a good file.” Mediated Resolutions, LLC, is committed to closing the file and helping you move forward.

We Have More Than 30 Years Of Experience
Our lawyers have more than three decades of experience in the law and are respected for the breadth of their knowledge. Mediated Resolutions, LLC, was founded in 2008 by respected Atlanta attorney Burton L. Tillman. Steve Head joined the firm as a partner in October 2018. Our primary experience lies within workers’ compensation law. While many of the firm’s cases today still involve injured workers, Burt and Steven successfully mediate a broad array of other kinds of claims and cases as well, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice or real estate disputes. Our attorneys have numerous accolades and honors.

Candid Conversations, Fair And Just Results
Unresolved legal disputes can rapidly drain your resources. Mediation can help you resolve a conflict; however, mediation is not for everyone and every situation. A mediator has to help people understand the reality of their case as the facts apply to the law in Georgia. Sometimes, it is a difficult conversation. The reality is mediation can only be successful when disputing parties understand all aspects of their situation. At Mediated Resolutions, LLC, in Atlanta, we provide clarity and transparent communication to help our clients achieve the fair and just results mediation can deliver. Schedule a consultation by calling Mediated Resolutions, LLC, or by sending us an email.
